A tradition where Stem Origin would personally nibble on a new high priestess' fingers was established by the Stems. It found no fun in doing this.
HISTORY
When the Grand Shroom was still young, it emerged from the stems. It protected the small sect of Stem Rams who pledged loyalty to it. As time passed, it whispered the secrets of the universe to them, telling its priestesses great things and what they needed to do in order to carry the Grand Shroom's plan forward. Stem Rams that did not honor it were sacrificed to it for decades, with Stem Origin feeding them to the Grand Shroom itself.
Breaching from the depths of the church as the 12 other ram tribes fought back, it attempted to kill the trickster thief, Fungal Blade. Its lumbering size caused it to be unable to keep up with his nimble movement. Its body was burned from the fire Fungal Blade had ignited within the Stems village.
In its last moment, with a crude smile, it told him that the battle was born, but the war would never end, and they would meet again.
