The year is XX820. Stem City is ruled under Blema Von Voldark's iron fist. Dark slums stay lit by thousands of lifeless neon signs, bigoted nobility's parties echo from their economic ivory tower, vast dirt fields house lawless settlements, and world shaking threats loom unforeseen in the universe's wormhole underbelly. A bloody past full of tribalistic conflict and racial oppression, a violent and unstable society in the present, and a future only the few of most demented denizens of Stem Island can begin to imagine... There is no way everybody can win.
