A brief elevator ride is required to get to the huge gate separating the west sector from the rest of Stem City. Besides the checkpoint, Lawmen are a surprisingly scarce sight within the massive noble community.
Shroom's Academy, the city's megaplex school and only state-funded hub of education, is present within the walls of the neighborhood. The only state-funded hospital is also built within this sector.
Originally one of many neighbors in Stem City, Ahsonov's NATIVE PRIORITY ACT allocated a high-class sector of the city to house only native Stem Rams. Off-world denizens were forced from their homes on incredibly short notice as Stem Ram families, particularly those supporting Ahsonov himself, took their spots. Those refusing to give up their homes were beaten by Lawmen and, more often than not, killed out in public.
The neighborhood has been given special attention by Stem Tower for ages. Roads, buildings, and the education system were all redone to clean up and give the west sector of the city an edge over the rest.
As time went on, the area became exponentially separate from the rest of Stem City. Better security, better businesses, and better education. The Era of Nobility only expanded the area over time as the blossoming noble population required more room to function. A different culture and societal outlook of the world was formed within the middle-high class bubble.
XX710's UNITY ACT revoked Ahsonov's laws regarding native priority. However, even in XX820, no off-worlders live in the area because of greedy landowners artificially raise prices whenever the poorer folks attempt to purchase a home.
