HISTORY
As Stem Origin's body burned, she birthed a child on another plain. Working as loyally as Stem Origin once did, The Volva found those that wished to hurt the growing stems of the mushroom and did away with them.
During the years of XX190 to XX210, The Volva were sent out by their creator and became responsible for burning the 12 tribe's settlements and cursing their lands. It was here that they were first given their name by the scared Stem Rams. Because of the mysterious nature of their invincible huntsmen, Stem Ram populations were forced to move inward towards the unified city. Anyone who went to recover the ruins of the old tribal villages was met with soil that did not grow crops and emitted dirty air.
In XX210, The Volva did as they were told and began stepping towards Stems. The people of the old Stems faith emerged, banishing The Volva with old recitals. Playing along with the scheme, The Volva's tore open its mouth, screeched, and faded away to the cracks between space and time again.
Whenever the Grand Shroom or its design is in imminent danger, whether it be in Stem City or an opportunistic off-world tyrant, The Volva will emerge from whispering embers to deal with the threat.
