BACKSTORY

Born in a sandy world torn asunder by conflict and bloodshed, a 12 year old orphan Ree found herself and three dozen other children captured by pirates attempting to profit off the war torn region. The pirates attempted to smuggle her through Stemcity's Nexus in order to get her to their main base of operations. She managed to slip away as they transported them between trams, finding Nexus Lawmen. Asking them to help, the mindless bots simply threw her out of the Nexus and onto the street.

Wandering the rainy streets of Stem City for several days, the starving Ree was found by Yenjo Spinner. Taking her in, Yenjo was seemingly amazed by Ree's stories of the warring off-world. Her having nowhere else to go, Yenjo adopted Ree. It took her a long time, but Ree soon found comfort in the unknown feeling of settling down somewhere for longer than a week.

Ree discovered her passion for art after getting ahold of Yenjo's notebook and pencil. This would soon spiral into a lifelong hobby, Ree using her allowance to buy any sort of off-world entertainment possible in order to study it.

When she was 14, Yenjo brought home Clara Kalstein. Their new roommate was foul mouthed and aggressive; Ree ignored all signs of danger and adored Clara. They became like sisters quickly, Ree's optimism helping melt Clara's cold heart. She would constantly draw for Clara, attempting to teach her art. It didn't go great. When Clara moved out, Ree was distraught. Yenjo, as always, was there to keep her company.

Ree has recently begun having to deal with their newest family member. Burger constantly gets on her nerves, yelling and jumping about. Ree tries to show him her favorite movies and pieces of art; Sadly, the little guy doesn't seem to care that much.
