JERRY "PEEPAW" SPINNER. 77, MALE / XX743-XX???

PERSONALITY

Peepaw is a man whose age hasn't caught up to him quite yet. He's lively, intelligent, and always willing to help out a stranger in need. He holds high moral values and wishes that many others from his city held the same. His family is the most important thing to him and he keeps working to support them. Since childhood, he's always loved engineering of any kind; It's where his creative spark lies.

Peepaw works on various off-world Stemrail trains as an expert mechanic and electrician. He lives in cramped bunks with off-worlders and, as such, doesn't require much of his paycheck beyond food and water. He sends a majority of it to his daughter, Yenjo.

RELATIONS

Yenjo Spinner - His daughter. Working his remaining life away to keep her business and life as free as possible. He could not be prouder of her.

Ree Spinner - Adopted granddaughter. He saw great passion in her eye and her excited ramblings about art put a smile on his face. When she called him "Peepaw", he could not have been happier. Jerry started asking other engineers working with him to refer to him as such.

Godgrilla - A comatose house guest that he decided to take in out of empathy. Having left before he woke up, Jerry heard about who the strange man was from Yenjo. After he retires, he wants to personally meet Godgrilla and eat with him.

Ann Peelo - Current employer. Jerry, though only meeting her personally once, found her much more pleasant than the last Nexus overseer.

BACKSTORY

Growing up in Stem City was not a pleasant time. Jerry desired for his family's conditions to improve. So, at the age of 22, he managed to get a job working alongside Lawmen. He oversaw and helped with the repairs of Stemrail cargo trains in Stem City's Nexus. Due to his great performance, the current Nexus manager gave him a raise. He used this great increase of money to fund him and his family's safe from Stem City, finding work in a snowy off-world empire's cargo yards. That is where he met his wife.

They had Yenjo Spinner off-world. As the empire they had immigrated into grew increasingly tyranical, Jerry was forced to make a difficult decision. He brought his daughter to Stem City at a young age, starting a small workshop there together with the Marks he had saved up. Though money was not as plentiful as it once was, Jerry was forced to raise his daughter without his off-world empire loyal family.

Godgrilla, a local punk in a coma, soon came into their care after they found him abandoned on the dark streets of Stem City. Peepaw and Yenjo both took care of him the best they could, having to feed three mouths. Their money situation growing more desperate as Blema Von Voldark's rule sent the economy into an unpredictable spiral, Jerry left to retake a job at the Nexus. He said his goodbyes to an 18 year old Yenjo, confident she could take care of herself after everything he taught her. A majority of his income was sent to support Yenjo and their business back home.

An explosive accident at the Nexus left most of his body burnt, infected, and in dire need of amputation. Ann Peelo, somebody who had read Jerry's employee history and was heavily impressed with his determined mindset through a long life journey, paid fully for emergency off-world cybernetic surgery.

After long years of constant, breakless work, a 69 year old Jerry finally visited to Yenjo. She had expasnded the business; Godgrilla was nowhere to be seen and she had adopted a strange off-world girl named Ree. He was real proud of her; She had turned into a spitting image of hard work and familial love. He soon returned to his job working abroad Stemrail trains, saying that he'll be home someday; Retirement is right over the horizon.
