Yenjo's childhood was one of helping her papa, Jerry, run his new mechanics store. He would sit her down and fix various people's electronics they'd bring in, teaching her all about electrical engineering. He always kept a watchful eye on her, always making her feel safe.
In XX798, when Yenjo was 12, her and papa found a comatose man lying in the streets of Stem City. The two took him in, caring for him. Despite him sleeping for years and years, he was still alive.
At the age of 19, Yenjo was strong, confident, and happy despite living in an incredibly rough economical period. She cried as Jerry left to go take his old job at the Nexus, his high pay being funneled into supporting her and their business.
XX807, Godgrilla awoke from his coma abruptly. Delusioned, confused, and suffering minor brain damage, Yenjo helped the man relearn many basic functions, get a grasp on speech once more, and reconnect with his family. He helped out in Spinner Mechanics for a short while before expressing wanting to leave the city due to his family not seeing him the same. Not wanting to keep him from living a depressing life in a depressing city, she helped him move out into the outlands city of Gillsway after two years of him helping her run the shop. She would mark a visit each month, seeing the ups and downs of his life up until modern day.
After an accident in her shop, she had to get Under the Tower to undertake a cybernetic hand surgery.
A 27 year old Yenjo, working alone in her shop for 3 long years, felt nostalgic for her time with Godgrilla and desired companionship once more. She soon stumbled onto an orphan off-world child that had stowed away from an off-world and ended up here. Not wanting her out in the harsh Stem City rain, she took the 12 year old in and adopted her. The child, Ree, helped Yenjo out in the shop while also expressing herself artistically. Yenjo supported the practice, finding the evolution of her art something to look forward to.
During one of her many trips to visit Godgrilla, Yenjo stumbled across a bleeding Clara Kalstein in the Fungal Plains. Taking her to Gillsway as fast as possible, her and Godgrilla brought Clara back to health. Fading in and out of consciousness, Yenjo took her back to Spinner Mechanics. Clara was a whole handful to deal with, Yenjo managing to deal with her incredibly tactfully after having to sooth Ree and Godgrilla's worries. Yenjo had Clara work at the shop for about a year before Clara officially set out on her own. In the modern day, whenever a struggling Clara is running low on money, she comes to Yenjo for extra work.
In the early days of XX820, Clara found an abandoned child working as a mascot in front of a nearby burger joint and brought him to Yenjo. Yenjo, doing her Yenjo thing, adopted him under the Spinner name. He's a handful around the shop and home but she hopes to teach Ree some good lessons by leaving him in her care.
